Baltimore Mission Trip 2016 - Day 1

After a long day of travel from Dallas, Ireland, Colorado and the ends of the earth, all our families finally converged to meet in Baltimore for a week of ministering together with our friends.  We have planned and prepared for this week for a while, and for it to finally be here is very exciting.

I have already seen God work in great ways today.

First of all, we all traveled safely to Baltimore.  What a blessing.  Thank you Lord!

Secondly, when we got here, I had to leave the team at BWI Airport and go into downtown to get our rental van.  On the way, I called and man, would you know that they gave my reservation up?!  I was freaking out.  Jeremy, the intern from Graffiti Church who picked me up, began to pray over me as I was on the phone.  I called back and pleaded with the guy and the Lord worked through Jeremy's prayer - he found me a van!  What a blessing.  Thank you Lord.

Lastly, we have already seen our team begin to mesh with one another.  We have many kiddos on the trip with us with their parents - which is FANTASTIC to see families being on Mission TOGETHER - and they are beginning to get to know one another and get along!  I know - right!  And at the Orioles Game tonight - we laughed and laughed at one another.  It has been a great day.

Prayers - tomorrow we prep for the week and worship with Captivate Church in the morning and Church of the Harbor in the evening - as well as plan VBS and Sports Camps in the afternoon.  A busy day, so we need and covet your prayers!
