I continue to be challenged by the words of 1 John 4 when he speaks to us about love. How can we love? Love is an overflow from God. Love is given to us from God and we are able to love others because of His love for us. If you have a minute, please read 1 John 4. Love cast out fear. Love is from God. Love never fails. Love is God and God is love. When we can dive into this understand, then we might "get" what it means to love one another.
Look at the current situation you live in today. Have you told God that you love Him today? He loves you...and he desires to have a relationship with you today. The next question for you is how can you love your neighbor. Who is around you, your co-workers, you neighbors, your friends who need to be encouraged by God's love today. Who is in need of a meal? Who is in need of affirmation and prayer? Who is in need of an act of kindness to show God's love to another? Do not let the business of life destroy your love for God and others. Take time today to love God and love those around you.
